Spain has doubled renewables since 2019 (75% green grid: 42% wind & solar) with lower electricity prices amid lost Middle East oil (<30% EU). From 2013 to 2019, only 50 GW was online, before new permitting, grid investment, and tax breaks. Post-pandemic EU-funding and the Ukraine war tripled solar (41 GW) and upped onshore wind (32 GW).
