The world’s top Li-ion battery maker (1/3 of EVs) now provides 1,500-km range for sedans (1,000+ km for SUVs) with its Qillin Battery, topping BYD’s 1,000-km range Blade Battery 2.0. A high-nickel cathode and low-expansion silicon-carbon anode increase energy density by 50 Wh/kg, is 60% thinner, and 30% lighter (with 1-minute video).
