The EU plans 46% electrification by 2040, double today's 23%, adding grid infrastructure (PV and batteries). PV solar was already 25% of EU power generation in June. More renewables and less fossil-fuel imports (€260 billion less by 2040) will halve bills and reduce carbon emissions. The Net-Zero Industry Act (NZIA) will re-establish the PV manufacturing sector.
