EVs are already making your air cleaner

A California satellite data study showed that minimal EV adoption lowers neighbourhood air pollution (a cause of heart and lung issues). More EVs means fewer tailpipe emissions (e.g. NO2). For every extra 200 EVs, NO2 emissions drop 1.1%. A 2003 UK study also showed that congestion pricing reduced traffic emissions and raised life expectancy.
