Electric car batteries with five-minute charging times produced

The Israeil company Storedot announced it was developing an “extreme fast-charging” production-line lithium-ion battery to recharge electric vehicles in 5 minutes. The anode is made of germanium-based nanoparticles that store Li+ ions rather than graphite with plans to transition to silicon as are other carmakers.
