Bosch says peak ICE has been reached, plans $1.6B spend on EV tech

German engineering company Bosch, the world’s largest auto parts maker with HQ in Stuttgart, will invest €1 billion in EV and autonomous technologies. The Bosch CEO cited a peak in global car production and EV passenger sales passing ICE by 2025, spurred on by China. Petrol ignition is also much costlier (10 associates for diesel, 3 for gas, 1 for electric).
