Electric charging sites exceed UK fuel stations

Zap-Map listed 8,471 EV charging sites in the UK compared to 8,400 fuel stations, more than double in one year. Rapid chargers produce 50 kW in 40 minutes (about 200 km). There are now more than 210,000 UK electric vehicles, up from only 3,500 6 years ago and expected to pass 1 million soon, on course for its 2050 “Road to Zero” initiative.
