White House seeks to end subsidies for electric cars, renewables

The Trump administration wants to end subsidies for EVs and renewable energy sources, although no timeline was given and the legality questioned by various groups. EV tax credits are capped at 200,000 vehicles per manufacturer. Tesla hit the cap in July 2018 while GM expects to by the end of 2018.
