Dyson announced it will start making electric vehicles in Singapore, where it employs 1,100 workers and makes electric motors. The famed hoover (vacuum) and hand-dryer maker hopes to finish the plant by 2020 and launch its first car in 2021 to tap into the fast-growing Asian EV market. The car will be developed in Dyson’s research facility in Wiltshire.
