Tasmania boatbuilder Incat launched the all-electric Hull 096, carrying 2,100 passengers and 225 vehicles over the River Plate between Buenos Aires and Uruguay. The world’s largest electric ship at 130 metres is the largest EV ever built (over 250 tons of batteries and 40 MW). Shipping produces 3% of the world’s annual emissions.
