| Australia | renewables: grid
Solar and wind power comprised 138% of grid demand in South Australia, excess sent to Victoria (interconnector) or stored in batteries (e.g., Hornsdale). Another 126% was available but curtailed, setting a record renewable "potential" of 264%. More storage is needed: LIBs, GH2 (solar and wind electrolyzers) for down-sun or low-wind, and interconnectors.
