White hydrogen was found in a subsoil probe of CH4 gas in northeast France. Data showed 14% H2 at 1.1 km, 20% at 1.3 km, and potentially 90% at 3 km, suggesting 46 megatons (50% global H2 production). The 4 main colours: grey (methane), black (coal), green (electrolysis), white (natural). A primary source, white H2 is made as water reacts with iron.
