| Norway | electric vehicles: conversion
Following the start of the world's first zero-emissions ferry in 2015 along the Sognefjordy, Norway wants 67% of all ferries to be electric by 2030. Carrying up to 350 people and 120 cars, the MF Ampere runs on 10 tons of Li-ion batteries charged in 10 minutes after each 20-minute crossing. Clean, smoother, quieter, EVs are also creating new jobs.
