With increasing EV adoption, 2 mbpd of oil will be displaced in the next decade. Many are asking how green are EVs since 9 million people die annually from air pollution. The average U.S. ICE car gets 29 mpg and emits 400 grams of CO2/mile, while the average EV emits only 300 g/mile, reduced as more renewables come on line.
